Yesterday, I was shopping at Barney’s in Beverly Hills when this beautiful country girl came up to me and asked me, “Aren’t you Quan Quach? The guy that runs Blinkdagger.com??? OMG! Can I take a picture with you?” She was so sweet and beautiful, I could not refuse. She had her friend (I think he told me his name was David Spade . . . he seemed like a pretty funny guy) take the picture for us. Apparently, she uses Matlab in her spare time and finds our tutorials very helpful. She said that the recent fourier series has her extremely excited and she can’t wait for the next post. She is the perfect girl for a nerdy engineer like myself!
Turns out her name is Carrie Underwood and she is a small town country girl from Checotah, Oaklahoma. Turns out she is also a multi-platinum artist and winner of American Idol season 4.

Wow, this is either one amazing story or one amazing photoshop. Did you ask her what she uses MATLAB for? I never imagined a singer would need to use it, so I’m guessing she’s working through some degree which requires MATLAB..

You saw her in the store and immediately recognized her. Went to her and explained what you do and she had no idea………then you begged her for a pic and she let you do it just to get rid of you……….hows that ? far from truth ?
Do you really expect anyone to believe all this crap? Of course you know who David Spade is…know doesn’t?!! Regardless, we know you’re lying and knew who she was at the time the picture was taken. Otherwise, why did you bother taking your hat off (especially if you thought YOU were the cool one in the pic)?
