phoenix.jpgSo ever since I stopped blogging at my personal site, there has been an empty void that I can’t seem to fill. So much like this scorching hot and flaming bird, I decided that I would resurrect my blogging at the main site. Since the priority was to make this site grow, I figured that blogging here on a regular basis would be a good idea. This way, I could start building up a little readership as I develop the site.

So what exactly will this blog be about? Unlike my last blog adventure, I will not solely be focused on writing about how to improve your blog. There are a couple of interesting topics that I have in mind for the audience such as: select tech/engineering topics, web/computer/engineering resources, and practical advice/editorial/review columns. It sounds like the focus is not razor sharp, but I don’t think that is the goal here. The main goal here is to provide a comprehensive engineering resource that is useful to the average engineer. Being that this site is so far dedicated mostly to Matlab tutorials, I think we’re on the right track thus far.

By the beginning of next year, my partner and I are planning to launch the new website that looks quite promising. So we’re pretty excited about that. Hopefully with the new look we’ll attract more visitors. In the meantime, we’ll continue focusing on developing more “content”. As of now, there are a couple random tutorials on some PHP, Flash, MySQL, and some other stuff. But the main chunk of tutorials is in the area where we know the most: Matlab. Eventually, we hope to create a comprehensive and helpful engineering resource.

P.S. I removed all the Matlab Posts from the appearing on the main page, but they can still be accessed through the the tab at the top! All the Matlab stuff was pretty technical and getting in the way of the blog entries, so it was excluded from appearing in the Wordpress Loop.
