My Name is Zane Montgomery: Blood Type is O-Neg

Hello world!
I still remember from my first Computer Science class at Harvey Mudd College during my freshman year. We had to print “hello world” in Java. I had heard about coding before but I never thought it would be something I enjoyed. That semester I flip-flopped between CS, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering as a major. I declared chemistry but decided to switch to Engineering before the first day of school my sophomore year. Over the next few years, I learned to really enjoy the small coding projects given to Engineers which often included MATLAB (I will never type Matlab again, thanks to this site).
While my MATLAB ability/background is not as comprehensive as Quan or Daniel, I hope to be able to help out with my background in control systems and mechanical engineering. Hopefully good ol’ eigenvalue and his brother eigenvector will come and visit some topics. I have a decent background with Psychology, Chemistry, and Biology too, which may come in handy.
After graduating in May 2008, I moved up to Seattle and became a tutor, teaching math, science, English, and Spanish lessons to students from elementary through high school and thoroughly enjoying helping people understand new topics.
I stumbled upon this site while trying to brush up on my rusty MATLAB skills and decided to make a GUI to track all the days I work at each of the 3 tutoring offices up here. I grew more and more excited at the different MATLAB tutorials here that I often had 5-10 pages open at a time, looking at all of the useful information. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute other useful GUIs/scripts that are useful on a daily basis.
